Mini 0–6 · Petite 7–8 · Pre Junior 9–10 · Junior 11–12 · Teen 13–14 · Senior 15+. Solo, duo and trio age is calculated as of the first day of the event. Group age uses the rule configured for the event (default: average age).

Entry types
General Solo (up to three per dancer), My First Solo, Beginner Solo, Champion Solo, Mr GTB Title Solo (male dancers only), Miss GTB Title Solo (female dancers only), Duo, Trio, Small Group, Large Group, Production.
Time limits
Solo, duo, trio: max 2 minutes 45 seconds. Group and production: max 4 minutes. Overtime routines may be blocked or charged an overtime fee at the event administrator's discretion.
Group minimums
Groups require a minimum of four dancers. The Group Package fee ($85) is charged once per dancer per event and covers unlimited group routines for that dancer.
Music
Upload MP3, M4A or WAV per routine before the music deadline. Late uploads may incur a late fee. Backup music is strongly recommended.
Refunds & transfers
Entry fees are non-refundable. Injury transfers or future credits may be requested with medical evidence and are subject to GTB approval.
Consents
Studios accept the media/performance consent, choreography ownership confirmation, music suitability confirmation and privacy policy at submission.

Get The Beat is committed to providing a welcoming, family-friendly environment for dancers and spectators of all ages.
All music, choreography, costumes and performance concepts must be suitable for a general family audience. Performances should reflect good taste and avoid material that may be considered inappropriate for young dancers or children attending the event.
The following are not permitted:
- Music containing excessive profanity, explicit sexual references or offensive language.
- Choreography or movements that are overtly sexual, suggestive or inappropriate for the age of the performer.
- Themes or content that promote violence, hate, discrimination or other offensive material.
Competitors are responsible for ensuring all edited music is clean and appropriate.
The Competition Director reserves the right to require music or performances to be modified or withdrawn if they are deemed unsuitable for the event. Decisions made in relation to this policy are final.

GTB vs. typical competitor fees
Enter your studio's estimated numbers. Competitor assumes $205/solo, $230/duo, $90 per dancer per group act they're in, and a $35 one-off media fee per dancer. GTB charges the group package just once per dancer, no matter how many groups they're in.
